SCHAT is on a mission to clean up beauty's spiralling mess. Up to 75% of products, including packaging goes to waste yearly. This not only damages urban land, soil and water systems, but affects our health. 40% of products are not even used before being discarded, a costly environmental and economic loss. SCHAT captures this hidden value by turning waste into resource through its Circular Concierge vision- a one-stop solution to resell, reuse, recycle and upcycle. Our upcycling studio turns collected beauty waste into beautiful tools, and lifestyle accessories. Our pilot results validate our model to not only reduce waste, but redesign the future of beauty. By building a regenerative beauty system from the ground up and redefining how beauty is consumed, discarded and reimagined, we create opportunities to divert masses of waste away from environment, introduce multi-level circular solutions and strengthen circular action, and nurture a culture of timeless care and beauty through regenerative design.

Our pilot shows great results that validate SCHAT's model to not only reduce waste, but redesign the future of beauty. In 2 weeks with a limited number of early adopters, we collected 3 months’ worth of waste. Our growth projections show significant potential to use material experimentation to solve pressing city challenges while cocreating beautiful, regenerative product design. Based on our data, assuming we can scale our collection efforts through more drop off points and partnered campaigns to 10 drop off points, we would be able to divert 750kg of waste- that's 15 years worth of one persons waste- in just 3 months!
Our pilot shows great results that validate SCHAT's model to not only reduce waste, but redesign the future of beauty. In 2 weeks with a limited number of early adopters, €450+ of product value was recovered from what would otherwise be trashed and 90% of collected waste was eligible for reuse or upcycle. Our growth projections show significant potential to use material experimentation to solve pressing city challenges while cocreating beautiful, regenerative product design. Based on our data, assuming we can scale our collection efforts through more drop off points and partnered campaigns to 10 drop off points, we would be able to collect 670kg of upcyclable material in just 3 months and saved more than €20000 of product from landfill and waterways!
Our pilot shows great results that validate SCHAT's model to not only reduce waste, but redesign the future of beauty. In 2 weeks with a limited number of early adopters, we learnt that circular behaviour is natural when it is easy. With no incentives and no scale, users still gave us 12+ items each and 90% of them were reusable or recyclable. We also found that the product-use gap is real revealing consumer insights that are not being analysed elsewhere and which could be valuable to innovate responsibly. Our growth projections show significant potential to use material experimentation to solve pressing city challenges while cocreating beautiful, regenerative product design. Based on our data, assuming we can scale our collection efforts through more drop off points and partnered campaigns to 10 drop off points, we would be able to reach over 540 users in just 3 months!
